Responsibilities: The Engineering Services Superintendent is responsible for leading and coordinating engineering services to ensure the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of plant, equipment, and infrastructure. This role oversees maintenance strategies, engineering projects, technical compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while managing multidisciplinary teams and external contractors. Lead, mentor, and supervise engineering, maintenance, and technical teams. Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and support workforce development. Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Ensure optimal availability, reliability, and performance of plant and equipment. Provide technical guidance on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and failure investigations. Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects and capital improvements. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and contractor performance. Ensure projects meet engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety expectations. Ensure compliance with engineering codes, statutory regulations, and industry best practices. Maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and asset management systems. Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, reliability, and cost reduction. Implement best practices in asset management, reliability engineering, and risk management. Utilize data and KPIs to monitor performance and inform decision-making. Collaborate with operations, safety, procurement, and external stakeholders. Manage relationships with vendors, consultants, and regulatory authorities. Provide regular reports and technical recommendations to senior management. Qualification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical). Professional Engineering registration (PE, CEng, or equivalent) is preferred. Experience and Skills Requirements: 8–12 years of relevant engineering experience, including leadership or supervisory roles. Strong background in maintenance management, engineering services (TSF pumping station maintenance, Power transport and distribution, Road maintenance, water management), or asset-intensive environments. Proven experience managing projects and multidisciplinary teams.
