ENGINEERING SHIFT TECHNICIAN - POOLE | £50,350

Shifts: 3 on, 3 off (Days & Nights - 5:15am-5:15pm / 5:15pm-5:15am)
We are working with a well-established food manufacturing business looking for an experienced Engineering Shift Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a company that values quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• A proactive problem-solver with a logical approach to fault diagnosis.
• Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment.
• A team player who takes ownership of tasks and drives improvement initiatives.

• Supporting the maintenance and optimisation of production machinery.
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Ensuring all engineering work meets safety, quality, and food standards.
• Using a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders and equipment history.
• Diagnosing faults and working collaboratively to improve equipment performance.
