GENERAL SUMMARY

The scope of the role will focus on driving Sales for valve services for our own and our competitor critical and severe service valve products.
This role could be referred to as a Sales and Service Engineer role. If you have experience in aftermarket valves service and repair sales and a strong technical aptitude, actively and looking for fresh leads and prospects with the ability to establish relationships at plant level based on trust and credibility, and as required undertake agree site workscopes this position offers you several compelling opportunities. You will:

  • Extensive understanding of Celeros FT valve products and their applications and those of our competitors

  • Must be able to meet the security clearance requirements to access secure and controlled facilities in North America / Europe.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • +10 years related experience and a minimum of 3 to 5 years in a similar role with a proven track record in engineering solution, service and repair selling ideally in the control valve industry and with technical product aptitude and the ability to develop subject matter expertise.
  • Ideally having prior experience in a field service technician / engineer position and the ability and willingness to take on field service workscopes.
  • A proven track record of successful sales hunting and developing new business in similar market/customer base for aftermarket services
  • Ideally a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Experience in the oil & gas / power & energy / industrial market
  • Strong knowledge Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
Responsibilities

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating demand for services (and products) by raising our profile with customers.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Manage existing and identify new key accounts for additional and new service offerings and programme and participate in negotiations
  • Interface with Customers and conduct on-site meetings including plant walk downs and understand requirements, to obtain order commitment and to resolve concerns / complaints.
  • Collaborate with Regional Commercial Leaders and Product Manager, sharing information and business opportunities
  • Understanding of the Copes Vulcan and M&J installed product base (and that of competitors) to proactively identify new service and target opportunities
  • Identify and co-ordinate opportunities to secure customer maintenance contracts
  • As required and agreed undertake site workscopes for the clients you have developed
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports (forecast, customer visit report, etc.) showing sales volume including potential sales, monitored against the budget, with action plans to address variations.
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner aligned to the Celeros Flow Technology Values and ensure all activities comply with both legal and ethical standards.
