REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in University studies in Industrial, Chemical, Materials engineering or related field (80%)
• 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

ABOUT THE ROLE

Provide support in developing and optimizing processes/equipment. Provide support to the execution of improvement projects within the Engineering Department. Execute tasks based on Problem Solving methodology.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Create and execute equipment and process validations.
• Provide support to develop/improve manufacturing processes using engineering tools.
• Have a participating role in problem solving processes, whether due to the increasing number of complaints, scrap, defects, or low productivity, among others.
• Support projects for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, or for utilization of space
• Provide support to the production process related to calibrations, scrap increase, and Quality System actions.
• Engaging in waste reduction initiatives in all divisions of the company.
• Create or update productive procedures and technical documentation related to these processes (equipment, tools, fixtures, spare parts drawings, among others).
• Support engineering activities related to product/process transfer between BCI facilities.
