ALUMIL, one of the leading companies in architectural aluminium systems worldwide, is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Specialist (Structural Engineer) to join its International Project team. The role focuses on the structural assessment, calculation, and validation of façade and aluminium systems, ensuring that every solution is safe, efficient, compliant with international standards, and aligned with project-specific requirements. Role Overview As an Engineering Specialist (Structural Engineer), you will be responsible for supporting the development of structurally sound façade and aluminium system solutions throughout all project phases. You will work closely with architects, engineers, designers, commercial teams, and project stakeholders, contributing technical expertise from concept design to execution. This position requires strong analytical thinking, a deep understanding of structural behavior, and the ability to balance safety, performance, architectural intent, and cost-effective design. Key Responsibilities Develop structurally efficient façade and aluminium system solutions according to project needs. Perform preliminary structural sizing and feasibility checks. Carry out structural calculations related to wind loads, dead loads, imposed loads, stress, deflection, stability, and buckling. Verify system performance in accordance with applicable Eurocodes, including EN 1990, EN 1991, and EN 1999. Review structural drawings, technical details, reports, and calculation documents. Define anchoring, fixing, bracket, embed, and connection concepts. Evaluate glass thickness, support conditions, tolerances, movements, thermal expansion, and slab deflection requirements. Identify potential structural risks and propose practical mitigation measures. Support façade design development from concept stage through execution. Support testing strategies in line with relevant standards such as EN 12210, CWCT, and other applicable requirements. Evaluate the interaction between façade systems and the main building structure. University degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering, façade engineering, aluminium systems, or large-scale building envelope projects. Knowledge of Eurocodes and relevant façade testing standards. Experience in structural calculations under demanding or extreme loading conditions. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and SCIA or similar structural analysis software. Excellent command of the English language. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High sense of responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail.
