We are currently recruiting for a Stores Co-ordinator to join our Engineering team. This role will ensure the smooth running of Engineering Stores and administer the effective and efficient operations of Engineering Stores, ensuring appropriate controls in place of stock as well as sufficient stock levels supporting the Piramal Morpeth facility.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Supervises the engineering stores function with responsible for a stockholding of over £2 million of consumable and strategic spare parts.
2.Maintain the efficient procurement of engineering materials in a timely and cost-effective manner
3.Establish and review engineering supply chain performance and requirements to review sources, price, lead times and quality standards.
4.Liaise with procurement to assist in onsite (MRO) contract.
5.Participate and support departmental objectives, projects and cost reduction activities in order to minimize risk, optimize cost of ownership for engineering parts in the support of manufacturing operations
6.Lead and drive Engineering Stores Continuous Improvement initiatives.

CRITICAL TASKS

1.Critical Engineering Stores is managed and maintained to reflect 100% accuracy with SAP data.
2.Review inventory items with departmental managers to ensure the correct data reflected in SAP (location, price, min max etc.), this is to be managed by Cycle Counting of all listed spares.
3.Obtain quotations from vendors for both stores stock and non stores stock items
4.Raise purchase requestions for both stores/nonstock items including all required procurement information
5.Liaise with both vendors and Piramal finance and raise Pro Forma Purchases
6.Invoicing queries to be managed and resolved to enable invoice match rate to meet target.
7.Ensure all engineering spares entering site have correct supporting documentation were requested by area manager (COSHH, Insurance Certificates, etc.)
8.Exception reporting when stock is not available and the development and implementation of corrective actions.
9.Stakeholder communication in terms of delivery forecast, specification or price deviations
10.Creation of new stores stock items into the system
