DIMENSIONS

The role involves working as part of the Engineering function on days. Co-operate effectively with all other Team Members, to enable the team to maintain plant utilisation.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Maintain correct stock levels to support Corbysite. Manage parts requirements for plant. Stocktaking on rolling schedule. Maintain stock levels of spare parts to ensure factory downtime is kept to a minimum.

PRINCIPAL TASKS:

  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in Main Stores, Motor Stores and Oil Stores.
  • Raising/receiving orders on Navision.
  • Receiving materials on Navision.
  • Dealing with internal/external telephone calls.
  • Liaising with suppliers and Contractors.
  • Completing relevant documentation and recording data on required formats
  • Reporting data to required channels including reporting anomalies.
  • Undertake the training of others as required.
  • Identify own training needs
  • Contribute to and help implement continuous improvement, to enhance quality, efficiency, safety and waste reduction.
  • Ensure the safety of self and others at all times
    Qualifications
    · No specific requirements for qualifications, although previous knowledge and experience of working /managing a modern Engineering Stores would be required.
    · Experience of similar Stores that operate minimal cost & high quality within a food environment, would be of advantage

    · Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene standards throughout area of responsibility.
