We are seeking an Engineering Student for our Atlantic Canada District, within our Canadian Buildings Division, that is available for 4 months, starting January 2026, to work in Halifax, NS.
As an Engineering Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working towards a degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related field preferred.
  • A passion for working in a construction environment.
  • Experience with the application of various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on approach.
  • Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Conducting trade quote reviews – verifying material quantities, hours, and rates.
  • Conducting deficiency walks.
  • Inputting/Updating deficiency logs.
  • Issuing warranties.
  • Taking/Coordinating progress photos.
  • Updating, coordinating, and producing drawings.
  • Performing quantity takeoffs.
  • Coordinating and supervising sub-trade work.
  • Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawings.
  • Setting-up/Maintaining record keeping.
  • Updating project schedules.
  • Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades.
