Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

*This role will not be onboarded until August 2 0 th , 2025 *
Assist the Engineering Manager s in the daily operation of the Engineering department and in all aspects of resort and building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating . R espond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies. Assist with the planning, organizing, controlling and directing the workflow of engineering requests.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Be part of the pre-opening team!
  • Assist in the training, leading , motivating of team members and the planning of activities of maintenance staff including making spot checks on a daily basis.
  • Assist to e nsure proper execution of work order/request system and that items are followed up on when necessary. This includes scheduling, ordering, and initiating projects.
  • Prepare requisitions for purchase and work orders and liaise effectively with the Director of Purchasing.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules, policies, and rules to ensure an efficient department.
  • Ensure that the Perfect Room program is effective and meets company standards. Be able to make recommendations pertaining to Resort operations ensuring maximum efficiencies.
  • Assist to m aintain logs on movement of stock items and tools and monitor distribution of items.
  • Support the energy conservation program allowing the hotel to meet its annual budget targets.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed .
  • Maintain close working relations with resort contractors who furnish reliable 24-hour emergency service.
  • Assist with maintenance of all firefighting equipment in first class order and ensure that emergency procedures are understood and practiced by resort staff.
  • Respond properly in any resort emergency or safety situation.
  • Ensure a clean, neat, and organized work area.
  • Attend and participate in all required meetings.
