Primary Responsibilities: As a Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering activates and oversight. The Engineering Supervisor will have oversight of the development and certification of FAA-PMA components which includes reverse engineering, review drawings and specifications, communicating with the FAA, and overall program development and tasks related. This position directs, coordinates and manages engineering operations to attain customer goals consistent with quality, efficiency and cost objectives. In addition, in this position, you will review, approve Qualification Test Procedures, and Reports to be submitted to the customer or FAA. You will analyze material to ensure correct uses and compatibility with overall system, such as Oxygen or related chemicals. You will be the first line of defense and in some cases the forefront of the company for engineering communication. All these responsibilities will be carried out in a friendly and professional manner. Qualifications Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace or aviation • Experience with aviation safety equipment is preferred (but not required) • Strong and clear understanding of how to use and navigate complex engineering principles to help support the department • Effective management Supervisor skills • Effective Communication skills, verbal, written and comfortable presenting to key stakeholders • Should be familiar with Solidworks or equivalent • Fast learner • Willing to support team as a "hands on" supervisor with the ability to see the big picture • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills and communications skills (both written and oral) with attention to detail • Proven ability to successfully handle multiple projects and meet critical deadlines • Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to relationship-building, both internally and externally • Must be self-directed and be able to work well under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines • Strong leadership, project management and organizational skills • Proven team player who has demonstrated capabilities in the following areas: excellent communication, presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills, well developed problem-solving skills; solid organizational skills; and the demonstrated ability to be self-directed and effectively relate to all levels of an organization • Ability to work well under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines • Computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, a plus.
