This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Engineering Supervisor in the United States. This role is designed for a seasoned engineering professional to lead and oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial conceptual design to construction completion. The Engineering Supervisor will manage client relationships, guide technical teams, and act as Project Manager or Engineer of Record as needed. This position emphasizes mentorship, team development, and cross-office collaboration, ensuring that technical standards, quality control, and project timelines are consistently met. You will work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, contributing to business development, resource planning, and office-level strategy. The role provides visibility and influence across multiple projects, fostering innovation and excellence within a collaborative team setting. \n Accountabilities: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff, managing performance, workload allocation, and professional development. Oversee all phases of project delivery, including conceptual design, detailed design, and construction administration. Maintain client relationships, coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Act as Project Manager and/or Engineer of Record on select projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards and deadlines. Facilitate regular team meetings, promote cross-office collaboration, and address technical design challenges. Support business development efforts through proposal writing, client retention, and participation in industry events. Partner with Department and Regional Managers on staffing, recruitment, and revenue planning. Track project financials, contribute to office business planning, and provide updates on key performance metrics. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering; PE or SE license required. 10–20 years of experience in commercial or institutional building design. Prior experience with Revit and industry-standard engineering software (Bentley RAM, RISA, EnerCalc, Adapt, Microsoft Suite). Knowledge of applicable codes and standards across jurisdictions; seismic experience preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently or in a team environment. Self-motivated with a commitment to ownership and accountability for all work performed.
