Description

Overview:
The Information Technology (IT) Software Engineering Group (SEG) supervisor will lead a group of software developers responsible for design, development and implementation of customized software solutions across Electric Boat’s business systems. This role will support software development for the business as well as various programs including the Integrated Product Development Environment (IPDE) program.
This position will entail over supervising teams of EB software developers, which may include subcontracted software developers. In addition, the supervisor will be responsible for prioritizing workload, resource management and assignment of work; ensuring process compliance, assisting in providing software solutions, and direction and support for IT production software turnovers.
The supervisor candidate requires experience in requirements and systems analysis responsibilities which include overall coordination and technical management of software development activities.
