Description
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Support Specialist to join our Fire Detection R&D team in Christchurch. About the Role In this role, you will be the key coordinator for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities within the Fire Detection R&D group. You’ll support engineering processes, drive documentation accuracy, and enable smooth cross‑functional collaboration. What You Will Do Manage and process CRs/ECNs within the R&D organisation Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve issues Develop and maintain processes and procedures Support and enhance the PLM to SAP interface Provide training and guidance to colleagues on PLM and related workflows What We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years’ experience as an ECN Coordinator Strong knowledge of PLM/Windchill systems Experience with BAAN 560 (preferred) Understanding of PLM-to-SAP interfaces (advantageous) Excellent organisational skills with the ability to balance short- and long‑term priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working collaboratively within a cross‑functional team environment Additional Information Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand. Responsibilities
