Key responsibilities include:

• Develop designs relative to requirements ensuring alignment to customer needs
• Facilitate design documentation and perform critical reviews for certification of design
• Lead the engineering team in the realisation of the engineering solution while optimising cost and schedule for the allocated work package
• Review and approve technical aspects of Estimates to Completion (ETCs), i.e. the work plan, estimating inputs, methodology and estimating outputs
• Development of appropriate metrics to ensure the deliverables are on track
• Develop and implement training plans for your team and provide coaching and mentoring to both junior and experienced engineers
• Review technical feasibility of proposed solutions to engineering problems
• Personally assist in solving particularly difficult technical problem
