We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Engineering Team Leader to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance and repair activities to ensure the peak performance of all production equipment. Your leadership will be vital in managing a team of engineers and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role within engineering, ideally in food production or manufacturing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in a production environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a hands-on approach to management.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance in engineering operations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively manage team dynamics.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the engineering team to maintain and repair production machinery, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities and quick response to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure team adherence to health and safety standards, promoting a culture of safety within the engineering department.
  • Assist in diagnosing faults and troubleshooting production equipment issues.
  • Provide training and support to engineering team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with production and management teams to communicate equipment status and needs.
  • Document maintenance activities, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports on equipment performance.
