OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
Under the direct supervision of the Engineering Manager: Assists engineers with creating component repair documentation, suitable for FAA and/or airline approval. Duties include but are not limited to, creating / revising engineering packages for new repair approvals, provide assistance to Technicians in Operations to troubleshoot components or solve problems, must interact with Quality Assurance as well as other internal customers.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to understand regulatory requirements for airworthiness for FAA and various foreign authorities. Ability to understand and apply information from component maintenance manuals, structural repair manuals, aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins and other aircraft reference materials.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using
whole numbers, common fraction, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. The noise level in the warehouse work environment is usually moderate.
