Job Title: Engineering Technician
Job Description
Disassemble prototype units and evaluate components for remanufacturing potential. Restore mechanical parts and subassemblies to functional condition using appropriate tools and techniques. Sort and label reusable components to ensure easy identification and tracking for future use.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble and evaluate prototype units for remanufacturing potential.
  • Restore mechanical parts and subassemblies using appropriate tools.
  • Conduct component repair, rework, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Perform subassembly restoration and parts sorting.
  • Manage inventory tracking and materials traceability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and process improvements.
  • Read and interpret assembly and technical drawings.

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical teardown and reassembly expertise.
  • Experience in component repair and rework.
  • Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting and subassembly restoration.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools.
  • Inventory tracking and materials reuse proficiency.
  • Root cause analysis and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience in process improvement in low-SOP settings.
  • Basic familiarity with CAD and engineering documentation.

Work Environment
Operate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where your judgment matters. Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders in a space where SOPs are still evolving.
