JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Good GCSE passes including Maths & English
  • Engineering Apprenticeship NVQ3 – HNC Diploma
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations plus Compex Cert Ex01-06
  • Portable Appliance testing trained
  • Mechanical/electrical experience preferably in an environment where hazardous or flammable chemical are handled
Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

You be a member of a small team performing reactive and proactive maintenance on factory machinery and infrastructure to minimise downtime for our production facility in Deeside. Vital will be the ability to ensure work is completed in line with recognised codes and practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform preventative/planned maintenance activities.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns & diagnose faults.
  • Work on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic & electrical equipment.
  • Carry out routine electrical inspections & complete repairs as required using both mechanical & electrical skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to install & commission new mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic & electrical equipment.
  • Support the supplier partner selection process.
  • Work safely & promote safe working practices.
  • Identify, select & inspect critical equipment through HAZOP evaluation techniques.
  • Participate in identifying & executing continuous improvement activities to improve performance.
