JOB OVERVIEW

Join our expanding team as an Engineering Technician supporting QA, testing, customer support, and projects. Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer, this hands-on role involves flexible hours (40-45/week) and occasional travel. Ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong decision-making skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s in Electrical Engineering Technology or related (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • 2-5 years in electrical support; mining/industrial experience a plus.
  • Skills: 3PH power and control systems, CAD/schematics proficiency, instrumentation, PLC/HMI programming.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving; dependable and thorough.
  • Other: Flexible hours, occasional travel; safety commitment (OSHA/MSHA preferred).

Responsibilities
  • Lead quality processes, including completion, documentation, and product photography to maintain high standards and compliance.
  • Develop/implement test procedures for new and existing products.
  • Prepare comprehensive customer quotes by reviewing specifications and drawings, identifying requirements, sourcing components, and drafting narratives.
  • Provide exceptional customer support through remote troubleshooting and occasional on-site visits.
  • Create red-line markups for assemblies and customer drawings, collaborate on issue resolution, maintain records and ensure compliance to applicable standards (UL508A, NEC, etc) and industry best practices.
  • Serve as Project Manager for assigned customer jobs, overseeing timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Perform basic PLC/HMI programming.
  • Other duties as assigned.
