Overview Element has an opportunity for a Engineering Technician who can apply engineering problem solving skills to evaluate wireless devices for global Regulatory compliance involving EMC/RF for wireless consumer technologies in a fast-paced environment and industry. Performs testing of the latest cellular (4G/5G) and unlicensed (WIFI/BT/etc.) technologies to determine FCC (US) and ISED (Canada), and other global regulatory body compliance. Payrate: $32-37/hr If you are not currently authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, Element Materials Technology will not consider your job application. Any candidate must be lawfully eligible to work in the US as a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States. Responsibilities • Performs and analyze EMC/RF testing and evaluations per regulatory specifications• Compiling and reporting test results using MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat• Evaluate devices and determine applicable standards• Work in a team environment and assist in development and improvement of test methodologies, reporting, coordination of various tasks, etc• Maintain laboratory test methods and test equipment Skills / Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in any related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree or commensurate with experience• Must be customer-focused, organized, good communication skills, fast learner, team player, and detail-oriented• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and computer literate• Wireless/EMC/RF/Laboratory environment experience preferred• Ability to work effectively in team situations as well as independently• Must have the motivation, initiative and eagerness to learn• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically #LI-TF1 Diversity Statement At Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
