JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC is seeking an ENGINEERING TECH III to support the US Navy on the MK 48 Heavyweight Torpedo Production Team in Bedford, IN. KEY RESPONSIBITLITES: Works closely with engineers to assemble and test MK-48 AB/TC’s and Fuel Tank sections. Supporting engineers in design, development, and testing of new products and systems. Provides technical support across multiple disciplines. Identifying and resolving technical problems with equipment, components. REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: HS/GED and four (4) years’ experience. Experience with relevant tools and equipment. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Forklift operation experience. Good communication skills. Capable of building and maintaining good customer relationships. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Candidate must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain a Full DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
