Description
SAIC is seeking an Engineer Technician for shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands. Job Duties: * Assist with the planning, development, and execution of stage 4 and 5 test procedures development and test execution for shipboard C5ISR systems. * Utilizes specialized test equipment to complete C5ISR Stage 4 and Stage 5 testing. * Works with the multidisciplinary technical team supporting engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly of C5ISR systems. * Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts using Autocad and PDF formats to perform testing, checkout and trouble shooting functions. * Prepares engineering documentation, reports, drawings (sketches/flow charts/diagrams/schematics).
