ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

If you are looking for a new challenge and have experience working within automation then look no further
We have a great opportunity for an ambitious maintenance technician to join the engineering team at our clients state of the art distribution centre that is easily commutable from Wolverhampton, Telford, Stoke on Trent and the surrounding areas.
You will need to be confident both Mechanically and Electrically as you will be responding to breakdowns swiftly, keeping down time to a minimum, while carrying out pro-active planned maintenance of the automated storage retrieval system, conveyors, packaging machinery, end of line machinery and the facilities.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR AN ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

  • Apprentice Trained or equivalent qualifications in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with maintaining storage retrieval systems
  • Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience would be beneficial
  • Computer literate
  • Experience with print and apply machines
  • Experience with general building maintenance
