Job Details Job Location: Fremont HQ - Fremont, CA 94538 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 2 Year Degree Salary Range: $26.00 - $35.00 Hourly Job Category: Engineering Summary: Engineering technician assists engineers to resolve technical problems, set up ATE test equipment and SLT Driver Rack, collect/analyze ATE and SLT test data, test hardware assembly, debug and repair, provide logistical supports to engineers on as needed basis. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Soldering and de-soldering electronic components onto ATE test load boards and various test features Ability to read ATE test load board schematics and troubleshooting test TLB Assist engineers to setup ATE auto-handler and wafer prober, perform testing and data collecting on ATE and SLT Collect detail ATE product fail logs and work with Hardware team for root cause investigation and implementing fixes on fail test load boards and test features Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems occur Collaborate with electrical engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve development issues. Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair testing equipment. Analyze and interpret test information to resolve issues Qualifications Education and/or Experience: Associate’s Degree in Electrical or a related field required. 1-3 years of experience. Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Requires considerable knowledge of: modern office methods and procedures; modern business English, spelling and arithmetic; the operations of common office machines and equipment. Requires considerable ability to: use good judgment in making routine decisions in accordance with existing laws, ordinances, regulations and departmental policies and procedures; establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with departmental personnel and customers. Computer Skills: Operating Systems - MS-Windows, MS-Office, UNIX, Linux Other Skills and Abilities: Tools: DVM, Oscilloscope, Soldering and Spectrum analyzer Strong customer service and problem solving skills Ability to handle multiple detailed oriented tasks Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
