  • “Self starter” / proactive and ability to set and prioritise workloads

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE…

  • Provide technical support to ensure maximum efficiency from production and engineering assets, ensuring planned and corrective maintenance tasks are completed as scheduled.
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and repair breakdowns promptly to ensure downtime is minimised.
  • Input data into Maintenance CMMS system
  • Ensure maximum business benefit is gained from all budget spend.
  • Analyse line efficiency, wastage and downtime data with a view to identifying areas for performance improvement.
  • Manage contractors as/when required to comply with contractor management procedures.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with safe working practices and factory hygiene standards.
  • Liaise and support Project teams throughout all phases of the process.
  • Provide a high level of customer service at all times
  • Produce detailed written reports when and where required i.e. downtime sheets and line log books.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with internal and external customer base to ensure objectives and engineering strategy is delivered.
  • When identifying faulty equipment consult manufacturers manuals & read detailed mechanical exploded drawings so correct replacement parts can be ordered.
  • Contribute appropriately to team meetings and support the implementation of all team initiatives.
  • Operate machinery if required to ensure efficient manufacturing team working.
