Description
Job Description Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Test Introduction (NTI) activities including test setup, bring‑up, debug, and qualification. Set up, configure, and operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE), handlers, probers, load boards, sockets, and related test hardware for new and existing products. Execute engineering lots, characterization runs, engineering pilot run, reliability runs under both engineering and production environment to ensure test process stability and manufacturability at the machines. Provide flexible support including shift rotation (day/night‑shift), overtime, weekend, or on‑call coverage when required. Perform troubleshooting of test failures, yield excursions, contact issues, test program and ATE equipment or hardware-related problems. Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as diagnostic or calibration checks, alignment, and minor repairs on test hardware and peripherals. Assist Test Engineers with debug activities by collecting logs, failure data, screenshots, and detailed observations. Assist with product transition from NPI/NTI to VRU and train production technicians on new test setups and procedures. Support creation, validation, and maintenance of work instructions Document test issues, root cause findings, corrective actions, and verification results following engineering change control processes. Qualification Technician degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or equivalent. Work independently and efficiently on assigned tasks. Able and willing to work on shift rotation program (Day-Night), weekend and overtime. Basic English communication skill required. Open mindset to raise an issue and provide first line solution. Good communication skills to work with different teams. Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation. Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of semiconductor test flows (wafer sort, final test, system-level test) Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), test handlers and/or probers, Load boards, sockets, probe cards. Experience or knowledge with V93K_PS1600, UF3000, Delta Matrix II, Talos. will be considered an advantage. Knowledge in test hardware or software debugging is a plus.
