ABOUT THE JOB
The primary responsibility of this engineering technician position is wafer level electrical characterization of semiconductor devices in the Advanced Technology Development (ATD) Characterization Lab organization. This is an excellent opportunity to use a wide range of test and measurement equipment and to develop new technical skills in an exciting development environment. The candidate will work closely with reliability engineers and also interact regularly with process integration, device characterization, SPICE modeling, fab and design engineers to help develop novel tests & test methods and optimize testing efficiency.
Additional responsibilities: assisting with lab organization and upkeep including equipment calibration, coordinating equipment maintenance, equipment inventory, tracking incoming and outgoing silicon, lab safety and compliance. This position requires strong analytical skills, basic programming skills for testing, and strong communication skills.
The Characterization Lab plays a vital role in supporting characterization for process technology development in the Advanced Technology Development (ATD) group.
The work schedule is expected to be 1st shift.
