The Housing Department are now working towards delivering the Welsh Housing Quality Standard 2023, this is an exciting post that focuses on minor Civil Engineering works within the Council’s housing stock. As a Civil Engineering Technician, you will work within a team that delivers various environmental improvement programmes, which contribute to achieving this standard, improve parking congestion and Housing legislative requirements.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced technician with knowledge of Highway legislation to join our well-established and professional team. The post holder will carry out surveys, feasibility studies, planning applications and general contract management, with a ‘can do’ approach in able to deliver minor civil engineering capital programmes. The post holder will also be involved in delivering regulatory obligations.
The role will work closely with the Civil Engineering Team Leader to achieve the best for the Contract Holders of Wrexham. It is an exciting opportunity to assist in driving the service forward.
