RVA is seeking an Engineering Technologist, to join their Land Development team in its Niagara office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a graduate of civil engineering diploma program at an accredited college.
  • Superior English communication skills both oral and written.
  • Must have a valid class G driver’s license.
  • Must possess own vehicle for transportation between office and project sites.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere.
  • Experience in undertaking site review for watermain, sewer and/or roadworks construction is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and or Civil 3D.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake pre-engineering site surveys.
  • Perform site review during construction including full time site representative duties.
  • Assist with quantity calculations and preparation of tender documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of functional servicing reports
  • Assist in the preparation of servicing and grading related design drawings.
