Join our Team as a Test Technician!   The Role: We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Test Technician who brings enthusiasm, strong decision-making and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll implement testing of existing and new OEM forklifts and components. We value innovative and creative ideas—yes, even during meetings (where snacks are always welcome). If you enjoy tackling challenges with positivity and a bit of humor, you’ll feel right at home here.   What You’ll Be Doing: * Configure and install data acquisition equipment, conduct prototype and component tests (indoor, outdoor, and bench), and perform truck duty cycle tests. * Work with Test Engineers to understand plans, set up data acquisition systems, and complete tests as outlined. * Maintain detailed logs, process test data, conduct simple analyses, and prepare reports on schedule. * Document lessons learned, report daily status, and help improve test processes and procedures. * Select test equipment, support 5S activities, and assist the lab supervisor with operations. * Assemble, install, and test electromechanical systems and components using shop tools, soldering equipment, and test instruments. * Verify specifications, record results, and prepare formal documentation.   What We’re Looking For: * High school diploma or above (associate degree preferred). * Forklift driving experience (minimum 2 years with a trackable safety record). * Physical ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment for extended periods. * Ability and willingness to use sensors, data acquisition devices, overhead cranes, and shop tools. * Knowledge of electrical circuits and schematics, with troubleshooting skills. * Strong communication and technical writing skills. * Self-driven, adaptable, and customer-focused team player.   What Sets You Apart: * Associate degree in a technical field. * Strong hands-on, safety-focused mindset. * Experience in harness preparation and data acquisition setup. * Demonstrated ability to develop or improve test procedures. * Passion for continuous learning and technical problem-solving.   Where and When You’ll Work: * This is an in-person role located at our Columbus, Indiana office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.   What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:   Wage - $27.52 - $35.29 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience. Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation assistance.   World Class Benefits: * Competitive Salary * Performance Bonus * Generous Paid Time Off and 13 Paid Holidays * Affordable Medical plans and no-cost Dental & Vision options * 100% 401(k) match up to 6% * Company-Paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability * Tuition Assistance Program * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with access to mental health care, legal support, and financial guidance * Recognition and Kaizen (continuous improvement) Reward Programs * Meaningful opportunities for personal and professional development * Onsite Fitness Center & Occupational Health Clinic * Best in class work culture!   Big Name | Big Opportunities | Life is Better at Toyota Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA), the industry leader in forklift sales, comprises two main brands: Toyota Material Handling and The Raymond Corporation.
