Soil Testing & Engineering, Ltd., (STE) is a geotechnical/materials testing company with offices in Dublin, Cleveland, and Dayton. STE’s Engineering Testing Technicians provide on-site testing of soils for compaction and concrete for strength and consistency for major highway and airport projects state-wide. from our offices in Dublin and Bedford Heights. Our technicians are trained and tested by the American Concrete Institute, NETTCP and/or NICET to perform these duties. ACI Level 1 (Field) and/or NETTCP (or NICET) certified techs are preferred, but we will train and certify the right individuals. A valid Ohio drivers license is required (no DUI violations). STE provides training, safety equipment and a company truck. STE works with some of the largest construction companies n the US (Kokosing, Shelly & Sands, Inc.) on some of the largest projects in Ohio (new terminal at John Glenn Airport, Opportunity Corridor in Cleveland). STE offers paid vacation and holidays after 6 months, along with assistance in healthcare expenses.
