Müller Yogurts and Desserts are recruiting for a Engineering Training Specialist at our Market Drayton site.
As a Training Specialist you will be working directly with Production Managers, CI Specialist and Engineering Experts, Operators, Technical Trainers, relevant members of the Maintenance Team and the wider OpEx Team to identify skill development using production loss and related engineering data to build the right capability in Unit Teams across the three sites.
You will act as the bridge between engineering expertise and operator development, providing the essential knowledge and skills for operators to perform Asset Care. This will foster ownership within their units and positively influence key performance indicators (KPIs).

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Time Served apprentice in relevant field (e.g. – Engineering, Operations)
  • Engineering graduate or HND minimum.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience or understanding of engineering and maintenance procedures including fault finding.
  • Planning & Prioritising
  • Effectively Communicating across multiple stakeholders
  • Mentoring & Coaching
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the coaching of Asset Care and Preventative Maintenance tools, techniques and systems to team members in order to build the right capability across the three sites.
  • Support operators, engineers and relevant site teams and functions to understand the principles of Total Asset Care, its importance, and the role they play in uplifting performance.
  • Ensure the Competency framework is maintained with the most up to date competency requirements and the training material is available to support up-skilling.
  • Collaborate with the central OpEx team to develop the Operator Asset Care and Preventative Maintenance training programme, outlining all the development needs for operators and technicians, ensuring the relevant training programme is in place to support their development; ensuring there is a high level of technical competence within the operating team.
  • Coach and mentor others on Operator Asset Care and Preventative Maintenance Principles, tools and techniques to ensure implementation is completed to a high level of effectiveness.
  • Deliver root cause analysis, breakdown analysis and other preventative maintenance analysis training to our site teams.
  • Make recommendations based on experience to enhance effectiveness of the Müller Production System.
