ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an individual to generate new business with brokers and corporate clients in Australia and New Zealand, driving the growth of our Engineering & Construction portfolio.
You will expand our footprint as a lead market in the engineering and construction sector and successfully originate a flow of new traditional and non-traditional business in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Your main task will be the origination and underwriting of large construction projects, in particular, across the energy, mining and heavy civil engineering sectors and includes monitoring progress of accepted projects through application of appropriate risk management processes when in a lead position.
You will also form part of the global Engineering & Construction community and regularly interact with team members from across the regions.
You will support the growth of associated lines of business by actively cross selling the capabilities of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions and contribute to the development of solutions that are tailored to our clients’ needs.
