Responsibilities

PURPOSE

The overall purpose of this role is to work closely with the Head of England Women’s Cricket Operations in the pre-planning and implementation of cost-effective and appropriate logistical arrangements for the incoming Women’s touring teams and then where relevant the England Women’s Team (home or abroad).
The post-holder reports to the Head of England Women’s Cricket Operations and also works closely with the England Team Operations Lead (based with the Team) and with the visiting Team Manager.
The role holder plays a key role in ensuring that appropriate arrangements are in place to facilitate the effective delivery of the women’s international match programme.
The role also includes line management of International Women’s touring Team Liaison Officers (TLO’s).
The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, administrative, communication and people skills and will have considerable relevant experience and a proven track record of effective delivery.

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Assisting Head of England Women’s Cricket Operations with medium to long term planning for key projects, home series, overseas tours and ICC tournaments
  • Planning of day-by-day Summer International Practice Schedules in collaboration with the Head of Operations and Team Operations Lead.
  • Ensuring cricket operations delivery as per the International Women’s Staging agreements and Operations Manual.
  • Liaise, collaborate and build on relationships with key suppliers and ECB stakeholders, including but not limited to FCC’s, hotels and transport providers.
  • Requesting and reviewing hotel contracts for the provision of any home Series, for home and touring teams.
  • Supporting the Team Operations Lead ahead of any overseas training camps or tours, including but not limited to MOU provision/ tourer contracts on a medium to longer-term basis regarding flights, baggage and general provision.
  • Supporting the wider management team and the Team Manager of the touring team where appropriate in touring planning and delivery.
  • Design and completion of board-to-board MOUs, under direction of the Head of England Women’s Operations.
  • Touring Team and any England Team recharges after each home international series.
  • Team Liaison Officer recruitment, management and administration (e.g. contracts, floats, invoices)
  • Providing guidance to touring teams in visa processes and where possible providing supporting information, such as visa invitation letters.
  • Managing someone to be present at Touring Team airport arrivals.
  • Checking in with touring teams throughout a home Series to ensure smooth delivery and transitions.
  • Assist with monitoring of budget to maximise impact and delivery.
  • Review and approval of all contracted or touring player expenses.
  • The pre-planning of the England Women’s Team family provision including travel, accommodation, childcare, hospitality and ticketing arrangements.
  • Responsible for adherence to the family provision budget, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered with good value for money on services procured.
  • Ensuring data collection is up to date and yearly checks are in place to capture important information that will support team movements.
  • Subject to workload, undertaking additional duties that may arise from time to time as directed by the Head of England Women’s Cricket Operations.
