We are looking for an English B and Literature Teacher for an International School based in Shanghai. This position is available starting in the 2026–27 school year (Fall 2026). About the school A private secondary school in Shanghai offering IB, A-Level, and Canadian BC (offshore) pathways. The independent campus includes modern classrooms, science labs, a library with e-reading, music/drama rooms, an innovation lab, and indoor–outdoor sports facilities. Students benefit from active clubs, competitions, and dedicated university guidance within an academically rigorous, supportive environment. Job details Teach Pre-IB English, English literature and DP English B lessons to high school students utilizing IB framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers Develop supportive and safe learning environments Minimum Bachelor’s degree in English literature and/or relevant to English Minimum 2 years of teaching experience Previous experience with ESL students Valid teaching certification or license Previous experience teaching the IB curriculum (preferred) Salary and benefits Monthly Salary range of 20,000 RMB to 25,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Housing allowance is 3,000 to 4,000 RMB Fully paid summer and winter Holiday Medical insurance Airfare allowance Work permit sponsorship Professional Development Opportunity Paid trainings
