We are looking for an English and Science Teacher for an international school based in Wuhan. This position is available for the upcoming 2026–27 school year, starting in August 2026. About the school Located in Wuhan, this international school was one of the first private boarding institutions of its kind in central China. It offers a full middle and high school program, ranging from seventh to twelfth grade, and follows an American education model and curriculum to help students gain admission to some of the world’s leading universities. Job responsibilities Teach English and one additional Science-related subject to high school students, with specific subject assignments arranged by the school, ensuring lessons are engaging, structured, and aligned with the school’s international curriculum framework Prepare lessons and lectures, apply effective tutoring techniques, design and mark assessments, and write student report comments Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators and actively contribute to the development and enhancement of the school’s curriculum Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide clear learning targets to help all students succeed and improve Provide clear and constructive feedback to students, parents, and caregivers Create a supportive, safe, and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and academic growth Participate in school activities, meetings, and other duties as assigned by the school Bachelor’s degree or above in Education, English, Science, or a related subject At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting Experience teaching English and/or Science at middle school or high school level Preference will be given to candidates who can teach multiple subjects Excellent English communication skills Salary and benefits Monthly salary of 20,000 to 25,000 RMB, commensurate with experience and qualifications Meals and beverages provided during workdays Medical insurance Paid winter and summer holidays Flight ticket reimbursement Work residence permit assistance
