An opportunity is available for a dedicated ESL Teacher to support English language learners at an elementary school in Glendale Heights, IL. This contract position spans the current school year and focuses on fostering language development and academic success for students from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored ESL instruction to elementary students to enhance English language proficiency.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and support language acquisition.
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid ESL teaching certification or relevant licensure.
• Experience teaching English as a Second Language, preferably at the elementary level.
• Strong understanding of language acquisition and instructional strategies for multilingual learners.
• Ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

Location: Elementary school setting in Glendale Heights, IL.
