BACHELOR’S OR MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPECIAL EDUCATION, ACTIVE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER LICENSE AND MINIMUM 1+ YEARS SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

This full-semester contract opportunity is for an ESL Teacher to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Evanston, IL. The role requires delivering quality English as a Second Language instruction, helping students build language skills essential for academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ESL instruction tailored to individual student needs from Kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support language acquisition
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
