Description

COULD YOU BE THE TEACHER WHO HELPS A CHILD FALL BACK IN LOVE WITH LEARNING?

At Classroom Recruiters, we’re proud to partner with a specialist child-focused education provider in Nottingham that believes no child should be left behind. We’re searching for a dedicated English Booster Teacher who can combine academic excellence with a nurturing, holistic approach to teaching.
This is a unique opportunity to support pupils who may have struggled in mainstream settings—children who need a teacher who will meet them where they are, build trust, and guide them forward with care, patience, and creativity.
Position: English Booster Teacher
Location: Nottingham
Salary: Starting from £35,000
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP or September (flexible for the right candidate)
What makes this role different?

EXCELLENT FACILITIES

From calm, purposeful classrooms to well-equipped learning spaces, the environment is designed to support engagement and wellbeing.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
  • Experience or strong interest in working with hard-to-reach learners
  • A creative, flexible teaching style with the ability to adapt content
  • Confidence in teaching across KS2 and KS3
  • A commitment to holistic education, emotional wellbeing, and nurture-led learning
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for supporting children who may have had a difficult start in education

The type of class you’ll be teaching:
These are not typical classrooms. You’ll be teaching children who may have experienced trauma, social or emotional challenges, or disruption to their learning. Your role will involve building trust, offering consistency, and helping each student reconnect with their education—often for the first time in years.
Interview Process:
The school will invite you to visit, meet the team, and take part in a supportive interview with the Head Teacher. You’ll be able to experience the setting first-hand and demonstrate your teaching approach.
