An international consumer products testing, certification and inspection company, STC (www.stc.group), with headquarters in Asia, is looking for high caliber candidates to fill the position of Business Manager. The successful candidate is expected to be posted at STC’s Frontenhausen facility (near Munich).

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Degree in Marketing, Science or Engineering related disciplines.
  • Understanding of operation and business principles.
  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a third-party laboratory testing, inspection and certification industry.
  • Excellent problem solving, communications and leadership skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with various parties.
  • Fluent in English, and preferably German as well.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the operations of STC Germany.
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
  • Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
  • Develop new customers in consumer products testing compliance and regulatory field.
  • Working with retailers, buyers which in turn to trigger their assigned factories in China or Asia to do product testing at STC’s laboratories.
  • Promote and enhance STC’s image in Germany.
  • Work closely with the global sales and key account team to develop new customers.
  • Plan, organize and direct business activities to drive and achieve set targets.
