Position: English Instructor

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to teach and support students in English. This role also offers the opportunity to develop and design engaging teaching materials tailored to students’ needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. English, Education, Linguistics)
• Current university students will be considered for Assistant Instructor positions
• Strong command of English and the ability to explain concepts clearly
• Excellent understanding of BC’s elementary and high school English curriculum
• Ability to simplify complex content for student understanding
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Teach and support students in English, focusing on reading, writing, and comprehension
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials
• Assign and mark homework and tests
• Track and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to students and/or parents
• Identify and adapt to students’ individual learning needs
• Report student progress to the program director
