Applications are invited from experienced candidates with relevant educational qualifications for an immediate opening in one of our British curriculum school as Primary English Coordinator. The core purpose of this role is to provide professional, highly effective leadership that will achieve outstanding results in Primary English Department. He/she is responsible for ensuring student learning outcomes through maintaining disciplinary code of conduct for students & staff, teaching pedagogy and assessment practices that inspire high levels of engagement, achievement and progress for students of all abilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Primary English Coordinator under the guidance of Primary Head is responsible for improving the subject standards by providing guidance and support to all Primary English Teachers. She/He is jointly responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of curriculum, by adopting teaching methods that meets British curriculum standards. Lesson observations, conducting CPD's and assisting them in using the appropriate strategies to deliver daily lesson plans, conducting team teaching etc are entrusted on her. Alongside she is expected to perform all general duties and responsibilities to achieve departmental targets and objectives.Job Responsibilities:

• Teach General English courses to students of different levels.
• Prepare students for IELTS and TOEFL exams.
• Conduct both in-person and online classes.
• Prepare lesson plans and support students in improving speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills.
• Maintain a positive and professional classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written.
• Previous experience teaching General English.
• Experience in IELTS and TOEFL preparation.
• Ability to teach both in-person and online.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Currently based in the UAE and able to work in Sharjah.
