Join the Global LT teaching community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring English Language Teachers to provide customized in-person lessons to our client in Edmonton, AB. Job Information: Reference: 182167: Face-to-face English for employee, male Location: student's home near Langdale Marsh, Edmonton, AB T6W 1A5 • Availability: Tuesday and Thursday in the evening, Saturday morning • Preferred start date: As soon as possible • Lesson Frequency: 2x a week, 1-hour lessons • Current target language level: High intermediate • Language spoken at home: Thai, English • Student’s language needs and goals: The student would like to improve his accent and pronunciation and build a more advanced vocabulary through structured lessons. He aims to be fluent and feel confident in day-to-day conversation. He is interested in public speaking, too. Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field Minimum of two years of teaching experience All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
