Description

We are looking for an English Lead Teacher for a Kindergarten based in Beijing Chaoyang district. This position is available from Fall 2026. About the school This kindergarten offers a full-English curriculum following the Montessori method in small, personalized classes. It nurtures language, math, science, arts, and social-emotional skills while instilling unity, care, respect, service, and excellence. The eco-friendly campus in Beijing’s embassy district features a media lab, art workshop, organic greenhouse, air purification, and on-site meals, all led by English-speaking teachers and on-site medical staff. About the role As a Montessori Lead Teacher, you will craft a nurturing full-English classroom, guiding children’s growth through tailored plans and hands-on activities while leading a collaborative team. You will manage resources thoughtfully, observe and document progress, and keep parents closely engaged through timely updates, field trips, home visits, and open days, all while fostering joyful, independent learning in a supportive environment. Follow academic director's plans, design Montessori environment, hold team meetings, manage budget, materials, files, and supplies, handle issues flexibly, promote team unity Create semester, monthly, weekly, unit-based, individual, and daily activity plans Deliver 40-60 min language support, prepare environment, conduct teaching, observe and record children's progress daily Complete daily observation reports, monthly files with children's work, and parent summaries Timely inform parents on activities and notices, design field trips and home visits, organize parent meetings and open days Contact parents, foster school-home cooperation for child development, update pictures on the school’s website Bachelor’s degree or higher Excellent English communications skills Minimum 2 years of full-time teaching experience AMI/AMS 0-3 or 3-6 certification (preferred); prior Montessori experience Valid teaching credential Open-minded, enthusiastic, and eager to thrive in a vibrant multicultural environment Salary and benefits Monthly salary of 25,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Annual round-trip airfare home (up to 8,000 RMB) International health insurance Free education for dependent children Free breakfast and lunch Summer, winter and national holidays
