English Lecturer – 37 hours per week 8:30am – 5pm, Employed for 52 weeks per year – up to £38,186 – depending on experience and qualifications.

The English Lecturer will be based on site in Weybridge and will be required to deliver high standards of teaching whilst creating a positive learning environment for our students studying a range of English courses including GCSE and Functional Skills.
About the role:

As English Lecturer you will have the enthusiasm and drive to deliver these GCSE lessons. Your role will include:

  • Teach on a programme of appropriate courses
  • Assess, review and record learner progress
  • Maintain course and learner records
  • To embed employment skills in to the curriculum courses

To fulfil the role of English Lecturer you will have:

  • Degree in relevant area
  • Proven experience of teaching GCSE English essential
  • Teaching qualifications – or be prepared to work towards this with our support
  • Recent graduates and people looking for a career change will be considered
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and be skilled in the use of IT
