Description

We are looking for an English Literature & Social Science Teacher for an international school in Zhengzhou, Henan province. This position is available from the upcoming 2026–27 academic year in February, 2026. About the role You will teach High School English Literature and Social Studies, delivering around 25 classes per week and using AP and A Level curriculum as your core framework. Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with AP and A Level standards Develop instructional materials and adapt learning for individual and small group needs Assess student academic and social progress, maintain records, and write progress reports Communicate regularly with parents to support student growth Collaborate with school leaders and fellow teachers on planning and student support Join curriculum meetings and professional development sessions Help organize and supervise school activities and events on and off campus Bachelor's degree or above At least 2 years of subject teaching experience Excellent communications skills Salary and benefits Monthly salary of 3500 to 4000 USD commensurate with experience and qualifications Monthly housing allowance of 2,500 RMB per month Airfare Reimbursement Assistance with work visa from a Chinese embassy or consulate, a work permit from the PRC's Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs and a residence permit from the Exit & Entry Administration of Public Security Bureau.
