Step Into Teaching are supporting a college in Rugby seeking English & Maths Graduate Progress Tutors who are wanting to gain classroom experience before teacher training.
If you’re predicted or currently hold a degree in English or Maths, then this could be the ideal position for you. The college are looking for graduates that are enthusiastic about about their subject (English or Maths) and have a genuine desire to better the educational outcomes of the students they work with.
This will be starting in August 2025.

• Supporting current students with GCSE resits within the college
• Work with students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis to reinforce learning and improve understanding.
• Assist with classroom management, helping to create a productive, positive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class lecturer.
• Help with preparing teaching materials and resources.
• Provide additional support for students with special educational needs (SEN), as required.
• Encourage confidence, creativity, and a love of learning in students.
