2026 Paid Summer Teaching Opportunity!  FORWARD SERVICE CORPORATION’S (FSC) UPWARD BOUND PROGRAMS  Certified Wisconsin Teachers  What is Upward Bound:   Upward Bound serves high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor’s degree and/or from families who meet federal income guidelines. The goal of UB is to help students recognize and develop their potential and to encourage them to pursue post-secondary degrees. Our goal of summer programming is to incorporate learning in a fun and creative way.  Where:  * This will be an opportunity to teach on campus at UW-Whitewater in Whitewater, WI in a classroom setting. What:  [ We are looking for two instructors in the following subjects:] * English Curriculum Content and Lesson Preparation (Grades 9-12) * English Composition:3days in-person learning (45-minute lessons) * English Literature:3days in-person learning (45-minutelessons) * Self-Paced ACT Prep:6days virtual learning (45-minutelessons) * Mathematics Curriculum Content and Lesson Preparation(Grades 9-12) * Financial Literacy: 4 days in-person learning(45-minute lessons) * Engineering:7days in-person learning(45-minutelessons) * Self-Paced ACT Prep:11 days virtual learning(45-minutelessons) When:   * Training and orientation dates TBD   * In-Person Schedule [English Instructor] : * Tuesdays6/16, 6/23, & 6/30(8:30- 10:00am) * Thursdays 6/18, 6/25, & 7/2 (8:30 – 10:00 am)   * Virtual Learning Schedule (Including office Hours) [English Instructor]: * Fridays 6/19, 6/26, & 7/3 (8:00 – 9 am) * In-Person Schedule [Math Instructor] : * Mondays 6/22 & 6/29(10:30–12:00 pm) * Tuesdays 6/16, 6/23, & 6/30(10:30am–12:00 pm) * Wednesday 6/17, 6/24, & 7/1(10:30 am–12:00 pm) * Thursdays 6/18, 6/25, & 7/2(10:30am–12:00 pm) Virtual Learning Schedule (including office hours): [Math Instructor] * Fridays 6/19, 6/26, & 7/3 (9:00 –10:00am)   * Notes for both positions: * One virtual learning assignment per week will be required for students to complete asynchronously, preferably through Google Classroom or similar approved platform * Approximately 10–20 students per class. Compensation:   * Total of $1,500 plus an additional $100 for each returning year. Maximum pay of $2,000.
