Transformation has resulted in changes in skills requirements, roles, and numbers of roles required in the new operating model. Job Title: English Programmes Coordinator Pay Band – PB4 Closing Date (Time) – 20th Jan 2026 Location – Palestine This role is Part Time – 5 hours * 4 days Contract Type – Fixed Term Contract – 12 months Salary – ILS 4185 Purpose of job: Supports the programme team in the implementation of English and School Education programmes in compliance with British Council policies and procedures including financial admin, reporting and data collection, marketing and communications, operational project delivery and managing relations with delivery partners. Main opportunities/challenges for this role Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties: Project Coordination Manage programme data including timely data entry, data quality assurance, and basic monitoring analysis. Develop accurate progress and donor reports in line with funder requirements. Support internal compliance processes including due diligence, records management, and secure data storage. Coordinate grants administration processes including selection, evaluation, and procurement. Plan and coordinate programme events, trainings, and workshops. Manage all logistical arrangements for project activities to ensure smooth delivery. Support the development and implementation of safeguarding action plans. Coordinate marketing and communications activities to enhance project visibility and impact. Relationship & Stakeholder Management Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Act as a key coordination point between project teams, partners, vendors, and beneficiaries. Managing Self and Others Hold vendors and suppliers accountable for timely and quality service delivery. Work independently, managing multiple tasks and priorities to meet project deadlines. Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, partners, suppliers, and beneficiaries. Commercial and Financial Support Support planning, monitoring, and reporting on project budgets, expenditure, and forecasts. Manage smaller project budgets and report financial updates to Programme Managers and senior leadership. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with audit and compliance requirements. Process vendor payments in a timely manner in accordance with FABS (SAP Finance) system guidelines. Ensure full compliance with British Council financial policies and external funder requirements. Language Requirement: B2 level of English and Arabic Role specific knowledge and experience Minimum/Essential: Experience of working in a supporting role on programmes or projects. Administrative and financial administration experience. Good understanding of basic concepts of monitoring and evaluation, and how they are central to good project management.
