AlBaqir Academy is a full-time, K-12, Independent, Shi’a Islamic school located in Edmonton, Alberta.
We are currently looking for an English teacher, a Social Studies teacher and a Science teacher who would be able to teach Gr. 7 and 8 English, 7,8 and 9 Social Studies and 7, 8 and 9 Science. The teacher must have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
The position is part-time, and is from the end of August 2025 to the end of June 2026.
The pay depends on experience.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
